Amy & Byron | Shepstone Gardens Wedding Venue
We’ve had the privilege of capturing love stories at the Stepstone Gardens wedding venue many times. This enchanting corner of the world feels like a page from a dreamy fairy-tale book, with features like a princess tower, cobblestone ally’s, chandeliers, historic pillars, glass roofs and castle walls.
Shepstone gardens is a wedding photographer’s dream, and a dream come true for any bride wanting to relive their special day years on from the date, in a way that evokes the same emotion as the day itself.
The bride and groom also have the option to pick from one of their many “getting ready” rooms. With the distance between the rooms, there’s no chance of the bride and groom bumping into each other before they lock eyes down the aisle. You’re free to roam in complete privacy. If, however, a “first look” is your thing, then there are lush courtyards with dripping plant arches, creating the perfect setup for an amazing reveal.
Both bride and groom also have a wide selection of areas to capture their pre-bridal party pics – with plenty of space to pop some champagne and wild out a tad. Their team of wedding planners cater to every need, from wedding timeline planning to wedding décor and flowers, to ensure the day runs smoothly. If you’ve been planning your wedding since you were 12 years old and have put together the perfect Pinterest board (with all five hundred of your favourite pictures), then it’s worth a little look-see, but spoiler alert, this might be the last wedding venue to look at.
Another amazing feature is that your wedding booking comes fully kitted out with the use of the venue for your engagement photo shoot, so be sure to book your photographer early to test drive your wedding photography poses.
Amy and Byron chose to begin their love story at Shepstone Gardens, and like the venue, their love story was just as enchanting. It was evident to all who attended that their trust and commitment aged like a fine wine over the course of their relationship, with a sense of adventure akin to a couple who were falling in love for the first time.
Their playful love made for endless photography opportunities. We wish them the very best.
